Q: What do you think of the 2011 lexus isf?
I am turning 16 and kinda like it.
A: I would never spend that much on a Lexus ISF I would have to be on crack, I dont care how much horsepower it has, Lexus is not a performance focused brand the way Audi, Infiniti, BMW & Mercedes are. Lexus is known to be an overall refined, comfortable and luxurious car but speed and performance are the last thing they check on their list, sure the may have caused the birth of the ISF but its not worth the money to me. If I was spending $59,000 plus I would go for a BMW M3, Infiniti IPL G37 coupe or a Mercedes AMG. There are even larger cars that are just as fast as the Lexus and have a more reasonable MSRP price then the over exagerated MSRP of the ISF, the BMW M3 isnt even priced that high, I dont know what lexus was thinking. I would rather spend my money on an Infiniti M56 which I might add has 420 HP and its 5 times larger then a Lexus IS sedan, I would gladly take another car before considering the Lexus ISF. Many cars that would be above the list before even looking at the ISF in the same price range and similar horsepower would be a 2011 BMW 550i, 2011 Infiniti M56, 2011 Infiniti FX50, 2011 BMW M3 coupe or sedan, 2011 Infiniti IPL series, 2011 BMW X5-50i, 2011 Jaguar XF, Mercedes E550, Mercedes C63 AMG, Range Rover Sport. Man the ISF would be at the very bottom for me. Thats what I think =)

A: They are both great cars, but are in different categories if you ask me. The Lexus IS-F is an amazing car, it is very refined, safe, and fast. The same goes for the 5 series. BUT, they are different types of cars. The Lexus is a high performance car. Whereas the 5 series is a lless agressive sedan. Trus it has good power and can have a sporty feel, but it's just not the same. It all depends on what kind of car u are looking for.
And to be completely honest, for just 1 or 2 thousand more I would go for a Mercedes Benz C63!

I am looking to buy a new car. I think it is a good looking car. I like the fact that it is sporty looking with 4 doors but is it reliable?

If all required maintanance is performed. You take care of the car as a responsible car owner. Do these car perform well? Has any one had problems with the car?

It doesn't maintain itself.
It doesn't fix itself.
It doesn't get fuel for itself.
It doesn't clean itself.
In fact, it does NOTHING without input from you, the owner.
So.....seeing as reliability involves independent action, how could it, or any other vehicle be reliable?
People use the word "reliability" in regards to cars all the time, but fail to ever bother to find out what the word actually means. It means to produce the same results over a variety of independent tests.
If you don't maintain the car, it will NOT produce the same results over time. Therefore, it cannot be considered reliable on it's own.
Q: Does anybody know if the 2008 Lexus ISF will be at the Dalllas Auto Show?

A: I'm sure it will be. It was at the SEMA auto show, Detroit Auto Show, Las Vegas auto show, and the Los Angeles auto show. It will most likely be at the Dallas one, too.

i am currently a 17 year old high school student and i currently drive a 2004 lexus gs300, and i want a sedan that has more horsepower and is faster.
A: I've always liked the M3. BMW's and Mercedes' are better and nice cars than Lexus', in my opinion. I also feel that BMW's are just slightly more reliable than the good ol' merc's.

A: The Mufflers aren't fake.
The baffling at the end of the Car isn't the actual muffler tip. It looks like it though.
If it didn't have mufflers it would scream like an F1 car and the Cops would be all over it before anyone even got it on the freeway.
They are under the Car, same place as every other car, doing what they do on every other car.

A: There doesn't seem to be any difference. However, there is an IS-F Evolution introduced in 2009.

A: The dual exaust pipes are fake, but that shouldn't make you chage your mind about purchasing the car. Many other performance cars use parts like that to just give the car a more agressive look. It's not like everybody who sees the car will think "Oh my God! Those pipes are fake!". Seriously, does it matter?
If you don't want the IS F, get the C63 AMG. It's just a better car in my opinion.

Well this will be my first car, Althought i wish i can ask for a ferrari but ge says is to expensive. But 1995 ferrari is cool with him. However I don't like used cars. So i prefer a new one instead. I am quite confused with the cars I choose: the mustand and the lexus isf. Mustang is about tought musle looking car, whereas luxus is reliability and luxury.

A: Well to be honest....... i would rather not have any of those cars compared to the 2010 Chevy Camaro. No one likes lexus anyways. Bmw and audi are nice cars in all but... they are foreign cars and i am into cars from AMERICA. Jaguar cars are okay but... they have the ugliest head lights and it just pisses me off the way they look. There is an exception for the amg c63 though. It is like the most bad ass mercedes car ever! Now i have a couple of questions for you... Why do you want my opinion?? are you buying one of these cars?
