Q: What kind of anti-theft features does a Toyota Camry 2011 come with?
I know nothing about cars. I drive a 2011 Toyota Camry SE. I want to know if there are any features that my car comes with to protect it? Like if someone broke a window, will the alarm sound? What if someone tried to start the car without the keys. My car has a start button, there is no keyhole to start the engine. What other anti theft features does my car have?
A: It comes with an alarm that if someone breaks a window or forces a door open it will sound.
The Push Start is a anti-theft device unto itself. Unless the key fob is near it won't start. So a thief would have to emulate that frequency and the proper one at that. Because they all operate under a slightly different frequency.
It also comes with an engine immobilizer. If they did try to start it by hot-wiring it.
But no matter what if someone wants it bad enough. They'll find a way to get it.
Q: Does anybody have a couple of good photo's on how the 2011 Toyota Camry LE would look with wood accessory?
Ok, so when I was customizing my 2011 Toyota Camry LE on Toyota's website, I found an accessory option to add a wood dash appearance. But I would not know what that would look like on the Camry LE. So does anybody have a lot of good photo's of what the 2011 Toyota Camry LE would look like with this accessory package?
A: Here's all the pictures you could want ;).
Google Images is all you need.

You could always go to a Dealer and see it in person. I'm sure they have at least one with that option.
Q: about how much would it cost to change a back bumper of a 2011 Toyota Camry?
i got a dent in the corner of my 2011 Toyota Camry, about 4 inches width, i would say 1 1/2 inch deep, i went to a body shop they said that they'll need to replace the whole bumper.
is it normal to spend $450 on it?
A: 450 is cheap..must be a bumper cover replacement...my estamate would be 600 to 800 dollars...be careful will yah?
Q: I have a question about the 2010-2011 Toyota Camry Navigation System Relating To The iPod Capability?
Ok, my question about the 2010-2011 Toyota Camry Navigation System is can it play video's onto your navigation system screen in ANY way? is that possible in ANY way?
A: What do you mean in "any" way?
Q: What is the light-bulb size for a 2011 Toyota Camry SE V4?
I was going to order 8000k HID lights for my 2011 Camry and i don't know what size the bulbs are.. I wanted to make the order tonight if i could get an answer..
A: This is impossible to answer as you seem to have a car that doesn't exist.
There is no such thing as a 2011 Camry with a V4. The V designates the engine configuration it DOES NOT precede the number of cylinders for every engine. Your 4 cylinder engine has all 4 in a straight line hence it is known as an inline 4 or I4 for short.
V means 2 banks of inline cylinders joined by a common crankshaft. When viewed from the end the engine resembles the letter V.
There are V4 engines but those are 2 stroke/cycle outboard engines made by OMC and sold under the Johnson and Evinrude names.
There are also flat 4 engines sometimes referred to as boxer engines.
Q: Where is a good website to buy low profile rims for a Toyota Camry 2011?
Today i bought a Toyota Camry 2011 and i was wondering where a good website is to find nice low profile rims for my car. I need something that has a reasonable price considering i just spent a ton of money on a new car. Also it would help if you could give me suggestions where to get a nice spoiler for my car. Any other suggestions would be greatly appriciated.
A: You bought a new Camry and now want a car that looks "Cool"??
Forget it!!! you're stuck withe a boring family car and any adaptations will just make you like like a person with less than normal intelligence.
If the dumb driver look is for you then try here: http://rims.com/
Q: 2011 toyota camry SE with stock projector headlights, good idea to install HID conversion kit?
i have a 2011 toyota camry SE with projector stock headlights, should i install the xentec H11 HID conversion kit? is it a good idea installing aftermarket HID kits with stock projector headlights?
A: Toyota has had a lot of reliability problems with HID lights... it seems to be the main thing they are having trouble getting right. What I don't know is if the trouble is because of the vendor they use or perhaps the front suspension is too stiff. I'm sure Toyota wants to know, too, and they have a lot more expertise in this than I do.
If it were mine I would stick with the stock headlights.
Q: Have any 2011 Toyota Camry owner noticed acceleration during slow braking and/or Transmission problems?
Hi all, I have Toyota Camry 2011 4-dr LE. While I was on a road trip recently, the car did something very odd. The vehicle started to cut out and it then stopped. I have to note that it was at a high altitude (somewhere in the Colorado Mountains). After the incident I was able to start up again and the vehicle operated as expected. This is not the problem I wanted to ask about, however I thought I would mention it in case you think it might be related.
Here is the problem I have: When coming to a slow stop or driving in the slow traffic, sometimes the vehicle seems to accelerate when the break is released, as if I have pressed the gas pedal. I would expect that once slowed down the Camry will maintain its speed. Other times while my foot is still on the brake pedal (lightly pressing it during a slow down) I would feel as if I have released the brake for a second and the car accelerates (at which time my reflexes kick in and I press the pedal harder). In addition, the transmission seems to hesitate on up shift. I have noticed multiple times that the transmission does not shift on-time and I could feel it when I drive slower.
So here is my question: Does any 2011 Camry owner has had similar issues/problems with their vehicle, or does anyone that works for a Toyota dealer has had similar complaints from other customers? Could the problem with acceleration during braking be also related to transmission down/up shift problems?
Since the problem with brake malfunctioning and engine acceleration is very infrequent, when I took the car to the dealer they could not find anything wrong. Before I take any other steps in resolving the issue I would like to take this issue to the community at large to hear some feedback. Any general comments on the 2011 Camry transmission quality/functioning will also be appreciated. Thank you very much for your help.
A: It's very interesting running into your posting. I am from Minnesota, and had a very similar experience. My camry was one week old with less than 400 miles on it. I was coming to a stop sign at slow speed. I was about 10th away from stopping when the car noticeably shifted down and at the same time shot me forward about 2 car lengths into the intersection. My head flew back and hit the headrest. I was injured. Klarson09@comcast.net. I took the car to the dealer they found no problems. A representative from Toyota out of Chicago came and also found no problems. I asked if they would like to take the car home and put their family in it and of course no one will. I included my email feel free to contact.
Q: 2010 es350 or 2011 toyota camry?
Im in a market to buy lexus es350 but also looked at 2011 camry xlw based on people judgements on Toyota and Lexus cars.. My main question is IS LEXUS ES350 MORE COMFORTABLE NOW OR THE SAME AS 2007-09 MODELS? You cannot really compare with camry because you can tell how comfortable the LEXUS ES350 is VS CAMRYS..
A: owning a lexus, you gas price, insurance cost, probably maintenance will go up
with a toyota its affordable. Lexus takes Premium fuel while toyota can take regular.
Lexus and toyota are same, comfortable in lexus will be better. because lexus uses same parts as toyota but much better tuned
Q: 2011 Toyota CAMRY. I don't hear click sound when i close gas cap. is it normal?
It says close until one click sound. I don't hear it. The car has another problem with clinking noise when i start driving for 30 secends. I found it is normal. Maybe my gas cap problem is normal too. Anyway, 2011 camry is too noisy, the sound of engine idling sound is too much. Also, pushing the gas generates more sound than i expected.
A: Well, I sell Toyota cars for a living and have never had a problem with the gas cap not "clicking". But, if it really isn't clicking, then take it back to your dealership which you bought it from and find your salesperson who sold you the car and explain your problem. We salespeople aren't only here to SELL you the car, but to also help you with any problems such as this when pertaining to your new car. If the salesperson can't help you then he/she should direct you to the service dept. where they can help you with your problem. Also, about your engine noise, I am guessing that you purchased a 4 cylinder model of the Camry which is a bit more noisy than the V6 model. I would also have service look at the car to see if MAYBE there is a problem with the excessive noise. Good Luck!
Q: Question about 2011 Toyota Camry?
I passed by a dealership yesterday and I seen a 2011 Toyota Camry for 15,656.00. I was wondering if this is a good deal? Do you think I'll be able to talk them down some? Also, give me your views on the car.
BTW- I'm in Louisiana
THANKS!!!
I knew about how much I had to put down. I've been saving so I plan on paying it in full (cash) price. You think I'll get cash off?

Q: 2011 Toyota Camry and dealership preparation advice?
okay i am in the market to go buy a new Toyota Camry. The price I saw for the dealership closest to me (GA) is $17,018. Nowhere online does it say in order to qualify for the 0% financing do they have to add back $1500, but the salesperson while chatting with her said they do or no 0% cuz its an 'internet' price. is this BS? lemme know...thanks
A: I==D~

A: It's better to discuss with your nearest Toyota dealer because your safety is more important then looks of your car.
Q: how long will a 2011 toyota camry last?
it has leather seats, v6 engine, fully loaded. I bought it for $38,562. How long can I expect it to last
A: about 250k miles+ My old Camry (1994) lasted until 342k miles. I gave it to my sister for free, she spent $7500 to repair it, and is still running strong now (423k miles) Also my new car (2007 Camry LE, 4 Cyl, bought in oct. 2006) has 160k miles
Q: Is it true that the 2011 Ford Fusion has been determined to hold its resale value better than the Toyota Camry?
So recently on tv commercials of ford's, they are saying the the 2011 Ford Fusion has been determined to hold its resale value BETTER than the Toyota Camry.
Is that true?
A: True today - three years down the road after Toyota redeems itself, probably not.
