I just bought a 2011 jeep wrangler and ive seen flat black jeep wranglers but never a flat white one. im thinking about doing it just idk if it would look good and if i do flat black then i will do flat black rims

A: Flat white is so plain it doesnt look as good and really everyone does a flat black vehicle and its over done if I was going to paint it I would do it something thats not done everyday

Q: What is the gear ratio of a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon?
Is there a difference in the gear ratios of the 6-speed manual and the 4-speed automatic?

A: The final drive ratio is different. The automatic transmission OD has a higher gear ratio than the 6th gear on the manual. They are .69 and .84 respectively resulting in a final drive ratio of 3.41:1 for the manual and 2.84:1 for the auto with the transfer case in 4-Hi or 2WD. In 4-Lo the final drive ratios are 13.65 for the manual and 11.34 for the auto. The axles will have the same gear ratio's from the factory - 4.11, but if you're re-gearing them you should put in lower gears for an auto than you would in the manual.

A: yes just like all the jeeps before it it comes off it is a matter of taking off the the bolts around the top and lifting it off by hand or buy some type of hoist i believe that the jeep can come with a soft top as well the old real difference is the number of doors

A: They are behind the glove box on Jeep TJs. I do not know about Jeep JKs.

Q: Which is better, 2011 Jeep Wrangler, 2011 Jeep Grand Cheroke, or 2011 Toyota 4runner?
I really want one of these cars, and yes I will use it for offroading On the Jeep Wrangler I like - New Interior, Hard/Soft Top Combo, and Design On the Jeep Grand Cheroke I like - Panaramic Sunroof, New Interior, Gas Mileage, Tire air suspensions On the Toyota 4runner I like - 3rd row seating, Rear window goes down, Gas Mileage Which Car would last me the longest - (My Dad has a 1994 Jeep Grand Cheroke, it has aroound 230,000 miles on it)

A: If you want a car that is strong, reliable, and will last you a long time, I would go with the Toyota. We have a Toyota minivan with over 200,000 miles on it and it has never presented any major problems. As fot the Jeeps, the are not getting very good reliability ratings and well, they arent as good as they used to be. Go with a Toyota, and you will never regret buying it. We have a friend with a Toyota Camry that has 511,000 miles! I swear Im not lying!!! By the way, the Jeep Wrangler has been pretty defective and has shown some very low rating scores. stay away from it, as you will be having to go to the repair shop frequently.

Q: 2011 Jeep Wrangler or wait till the 2012 model?
Looking into the new model Wrangler and I love the new interior. I honestly thought it would be for soccer moms and grocery shoppers but overall the improvement over toddler toy plastics is great. Anyway's, there is rumour about the new Penatstar V6 being introduced into the Wrangler in 2012. Not sure if I should go for the 2011 or wait till the 2012 comes out (and not have a guarantee that there will be a new engine in 2012). Will the new engine effect the price as well? Thanks

A: Got a 2009 Unlimited, and yes, the interior could be better. As for the Penstar, have heard that the engine is a little better in the throttle response, but otherwise still a little lacking in the power department like the 3.8l. Anything you could get to correct this won't be available for a couple of years, so keep that in mind. Got my monster running pretty good, Cold Air Intake, bored out throttle body and a Cat Back (MBRP). Flashed her with a Diablo Sport and she runs like a scalded cat.

Q: Do the new jeep wranglers have good power?
I had a 2005 unlimited wrangler and i have a 91 yj wrangler now its getting up there and i wanted to drive it less and i was looking at the 2010 2011 jeep wranglers i haven't driven one yet just wanted to know how they compare with power and anything else about them which model would be the best to buy a sahara, sport, rubicon. Does anyone have one? Jeeps are the s**t!

A: sport as in 2010 or 11 is now a base package for just someone looking for a budget, sahara has always been the luxury version, ans rubicon the hardcore offroader. if on a budget get the sport, sahara for the luxury, and if you like to offroader alot then the rubi. power wise the v6 has hp and torque than the legend 4.0. but moving the wrangler in traffic and highway ive heard the 4.0 feels more powerful. ive own nothing but jeeps with the 4.0 and maybe im a traditionlist but i will always remember the 4.0 as being the best and most powerful engine ever put into a wrangler.

Q: Jeep Wrangler or Ford Focus for a new driver?
Currently we have a 2008 Jeep Wrangler but were looking at the 2010/2011 Ford Focus as another car. My son is getting his license soon so we are deciding whether to give him the Jeep or the Ford. Also, we live in Michigan and the snow is going to start falling soon. What do you think?

A: My first car was a CJ-5 with no power steering or brakes. It had a much shorter wheelbase plus they had narrower axles. I managed to keep the shiny side up while on the road.

Q: whats the main difference between the 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited and the new 2011?
i know the colored hard top but what else.. im thinking of getting the sahara or rubicon but i was wondering is it really that big of a difference cuz i wanna get one but i would rather not have to buy a new 2011 one, i want to be able to control my ipod from the gps screen so i can concentrate on driving more than finding a song and getting into an accident. does the 2008 one do that? gimme all the info you got and it would be my first car so i really want to be able to use it for a long time.. does it drive well. i love in utah so the top would stay on for about 9 months in a year.. is the sahara better than the rubicon? i know its less expensive but is there a big difference? thanks!

A: i don't think that you can access your i pod on the 08 also they have updated the interior and the painted top along with the diff packages of which they did not offer in 08 so little stuff but in my opinion not worth the diff in price as i am totally satisfied by my 08
