Q: Should I get a new 2011 Honda CR-Z, or a 2011 Civic Si?
I am going to test drive a 2011 CR-Z this weekend, and I have test drove a 2010 Civic Si. I am just wondering if I should just go with the civic because its got better performance (Hp and Torque) than the CR-Z, only for 2-3 thousand dollars more. I forgot to mention that I know that I am not getting a really fast car or anything. I'm a college student so I'm looking more for a car that gets pretty good gas mileage but can also be a little zippy and fun when I want it to be. Oh and I wont be one of those JDM wannabe ricer fanboys.. I just want a car thats good on gas mileage and is fun to drive when I want it to.

A: Unless it the CR-z gsr or whatever it is I would go with the Si. As far as I know the ones here have just over 100HP. Get a real car anyways. Civics are so slow you can dump $10,000 into one and it would still have less than 300HP and no torque still. Get a real car. All this world needs is more gay wannabe JDM civics with bright as badly aimed yellow fog lights. And they are still slow. My brother-in-laws F-150 w/ intake and a flowmaster smokes them all day.

A: A CVT is basically an automatic but doesn't have the traditional gears inside, instead it's a belt/band that slides on a cone like pulley, it's simpler inside and should give better fuel economy over a regular automatic.

Q: 2011 Honda CR-Z Navigation System?
Hi All! I love the new Honda CR-Z; however I have a quick question for those of you who would know....or possibly already own the car. With the navigation system is it DVD or CD based?? I read on the Honda website that it is a Satellite Based System...but i'm not sure what that means. I would prefer it to not be DVD based so that I don't have to buy upgrades for it on a continual basis. Also, thouse of you who have used the Honda navigation systems before...what do you think of them? Do they work well? Thanks so much!

A: It is a DVD based navigation. I have the Acura navigation system, and I think it's great! If you use all the features, it's well worth the extra cost. Most people only need to update their navigation system every 3ish years, more often if you're in a developing area.

May be a stupid question, but cold this vehicle handle a winter in central New York snow (front wheel drive)?

A: No, it is no joke. This monstrosity looks like the rear of the first generation Insight and and a larger, uglier version of the Mazda RX-8's front. The MPG is about is bad as the 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid!! I wonder who will buy this thing?
