Q: 2011 Ford fusion spart or 2011 mazda3 sport 4 door?
Does anyone drive a 2011 Mazda3 four door or a 2011 Ford Fusion sport? Im having a hard time deciding between the two. I plan on buying one of them in about a month. What is your opinion? Please tell me anything you may know about these 2 cars. Which would you buy?

A: after comparing both vehicles side by side if money is an issue go with the mazda3 its better on gas and the price is just right......safety and other futures such as the radio etc.i will go with the ford

Q: I recently bought a 2011 Ford Fusion Sport and I would like to get more power out of it... Any Idea of Up's?
I'm looking for Performance Up's for my 2011 ford fusion sport but I dont want to VOID my Warranty since its new... its a 6 cylinder

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here - carquotes.sinfree.net

Q: 2011 Ford Fusion transmission problems?
I'm interested in buying the 2011 Fusion. Love the car. But am concerned about these ongoing issues with the transmission. Rough shifts, slipping, etc. Wondering if anyone here owns a 2011 and is having any issues?

A: I have a 2010 should be the same as a 2011 it has almost 40k on it No transmission problems to date.

Q: 2011 Ford fusion sport or 2011 mazda3 4 door?
2011 Ford fusion sport or 2011 mazda3 4 door? 2011 Ford fusion spart or 2011 mazda3 sport 4 door? Does anyone drive a 2011 Mazda3 four door or a 2011 Ford Fusion sport? Im having a hard time deciding between the two. I plan on buying one of them in about a month. What is your opinion? Please tell me anything you may know about these 2 cars. Which would you buy?

A: The 2011 Ford Fusion is built on the Mazda6 platform, so its a little heavier than the Mazda3. If you are looking for a sporty drive, then go with the Mazda3. It also has better handling and performance. If you need a mid-size family car then choose the Ford Fusion.

Q: whats the differnce between transmissions on cars ex: 2011 ford fusion les'? one is more?
they are both 2011 ford fusion les' but one's msrp is 24,000 and the other is 28,000. different gas and/or different transmissions or engines? i'm confused?????

A: If a car has an automatic and manual transmission option then one will be more than the other just as it would be with an optional engine like a hybrid or one with a turbo. Also, just because two cars are the same model one may have more options like power accessories or GPS. Optional alloy wheels are another reason for a large price difference. Basically, every extra you get with any given model will jack up the price compared to basic no frills model.

Q: 2011 ford fusion sport Engine Upgrades? More HP?
I want to add more power in my 2011 ford fusion sport! Any idea what would do this? Turbo kits? superchargers kits? etc... Please help!

A: It took about 3 years before someone came out with a turbo kit for the original Fusion. One of the problems is the tight fit under the hood, which is even tighter on the new models. The other issue is that Ford will void your warranty on the entire driveline in a heartbeat if you so much as tweak with the ECU firmware, let alone hang a turbo or supercharger on it.

Q: Anybody here own a 2011 Ford Fusion?
I like this car but am reluctant to buy a Ford. Would like to know your experiences with this car? Any problems?

A: I had a 2006 Ford Fusion up until it was totalled in September by a negligent driver slamming into my rear... The way I was hit (completely stopped at red light and he hit me in a big Ford F-150 going 40+mph) he completely totalled my car...but my baby was in the back seat and we both walked away FINE!!!!! Now Ford is a great car to have protected us the way it did especially my baby boy! and for it having been a 4 year old car with 68k miles I got a great check back out of it. $12,500! Pretty good re-sale value for a 4year old car. I highly recommend FORD & especially FORD FUSIONS! I still say the fusion kept my son safe and alive! Although I did not rebuy a fusion because I couldnt find one that was just like mine :( I did however buy a ford product, the mazda =] and I love it just as much. I totalled my newly bought one by a deer and it protected me and my son great!! & I have since last week just bout another Mazda! Hopefully this one will last a little longer though! Good Luck in your Vehicle purchasing expedition!

Q: Difference between the 2010 & 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid?
Does anyone know the differences between the 2 model years of Ford Fusion Hybrids? I'm leaning towards getting the 2011, but there are currently no incentives near me. If I were to go with a brand new 2010, I might be able to get $2K cash back. Would I be an idiot to go with the 2011, or are there legitimate reasons to get the latest model? In my twisted brain I imagine the 2010's have been sitting around for a year and that they may already have been driven quite a bit for test drives. Am I a bit wacko for thinking this way?

A: Not a lot, really. If you get the integrated nav system it comes with HD radio now. Big whoop. If you do not opt for BLIS, it comes with integrated blind spot mirrors. Another big whoop -- $3 at Wally World for a couple of convex stick-ons. Other than that there are some tweaks to the control systems and the EcoDisplay that frankly are probably not worth the slightly higher asking price and the loss of the $2k factory assistance on the purchase price if you go with a leftover 2010 model. Some 2010 leftovers may have a few hundred miles on them from test drives but they still qualify as new vehicles as long as they were never registered.

Q: What are the benefits of a 2011 Lincoln MKZ Ultimate over 2011 Ford Fusion Sport w/402A and Comfort Package?
I want to justify the price of a 2011 Lincoln MKZ Ultimate 102A Package over a 2011 Ford Fusion Sport w/402A and Comfort Package? There must be some significant differences, but I'm having trouble identifying them and justifying the 2011 Lincoln MKZ's price. Looking for details (build quality differences, features, etc.)

A: A lot of the price difference can be accounted for by aesthetics. You'll notice the flashier front fascia of the Lincoln, as well as luxurious wood trim on the interior. You'll get THX-certified audio in the Lincoln, as well as chrome wheels (the Fusion has painted aluminum wheels). Another plus with the Lincoln is that you'll likely get much less interior noise, as it's a luxury car (though the Ford isn't exactly going to be as loud as a stadium to begin with). To sum it up simply, you'll find that the price discrepancy for the Lincoln isn't fully accounted for. While some of the price goes into slightly nicer components and looks, much of what you're paying for is Lincoln's name. (As a side note, the entire Ford Motor Company, including Lincoln, have been upping their game dramatically for the past few years, and look to only pass more of the competition in the coming decade, so you're making a solid investment either way). Good luck!

Q: 2011 Ford Fusion or 2011 Chevy Cruze?
Was bored today and started looking up cars I came across these affordable cars and wanted to ask your opinions. Which car would you like to drive and why? Personally I really like the Ford Fusion, there so many cool gadgets! Okay lets make things interesting 2011 Ford Fusion or Honda Accord? I would still take the ford but I wouden't drive it...i'm just not a fan hehe :)

A: I think it isn't fair to compare the two because the Fusion is larger and more powerful. The slowest Fusion has 156 hp while the Chevy only has about 140 hp on tap. If you're going to compare the Fusion with a Chevy, that Chevy should be the Malibu but if you ask me, I'd prefer the Ford because first of all, its base price is about $2,000 to $3,000 less than the Malibu and it offers more equipment.

Q: Thoughts on the Ford Fusion 2011?
Hi I'm wondering if I should buy the new Ford Fusion and if anyone here owns this car, I have been looking at it online and like it very much, I currently have a Audi and I am looking to sell that to Audi or another place for around 10,000. The options I picked on the Fusion came to a total of around 33,000. These are the options I chose, tell me what you think - STANDARD FEATURES Interior10 Way Power Driver Seat w/Lumbar 1-Touch Up/Down Driver Window 60/40 Rear Seat w/Spring Assisted Fold AM/FM Single CD/MP3, 6 Speakers Ambient Lighting Dual-Zone Electronic Auto Climate Control Heated Driver Front Passenger Seats Leather Trimmed Seats Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel w/Cruise & Audio Control Power Windows & Locks Sirius Satellite Radio N/A AK & HI SYNC Voice Activated System Exterior17" Aluminum Wheels Auto Headlamps Blind Spot Mirrors Chrome Grille Easy Fuel Capless Filler Keyless Entry Keypad Power, Heated Mirrors Warranty3 YR/36,000 Bumper / Bumper 5 YR/60,000 Powertrain 5 YR/60,000 Roadside Assist SafetyAdvanceTrac w/Roll Stability Control Latch Child Safety System Side Air Bags/Curtains Tire Pressure Monitoring System Functional4-Wheel Disc Brakes w/ABS Driver Front Passenger Global Open Controls MyKey™ Traction Control Univer Garage Door Opener City World Ford Lincoln Mercury 3305 Boston Road Bronx, NYC 10469 Phone-718-786- Worth it? Thnx. :)

A: A Ford Fusion is an excellent choice. You will find the options you selected are a great combination. Good thing about Fords, cost of ownership is pretty low compared to an Audi. An oil change for a Fusion is about $30 ($40 with a tire rotation) and you only need to do it every 7,500 miles. I always suggest new cars for the safety features. Things like side airbags, traction control, roll stability, etc. were all options 5-6 years ago. Most of these are required by the government now. You're only choice left for the Fusion is the engine size. 2.5L, 3.0L, or 3.5L. I prefer the 2.5L for the fuel economy, but the other two engines are good too.

Q: Volkswagen Passat vs Nissan Altima vs 2011 Hyundai Sonata Vs Ford Fusion?
all with nav and leather seats.

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here - carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: I'm thinking of trading in my 2008 Ford Fusion for a new 2011 Hyundai Sonata. Looking for some advice?
I recently purchased the Ford Fusion, but after 4 months, it is getting poor mileage and I haven't had good experiences with the dealership. I've seen alot of good reviews about the 2011 Sonata and the price seems right (MSRP 21,800 at the dealership I'm looking at). Any insight or advice on any of the following: Ford Fusion Trade-In Value, Sonata Reviews, Negotiating Price Etc....?

A: financially, it is a terrible decision. You will probably be upside-down on the Fusion unless you put a considerable amount down when you bought it. If this is the case, expect to pay a couple grand out of pocket just to offset the negative equity.

Q: Mileage on the Ford Fusion Hybrid?
Okay, so Ford is claiming 41 miles per gallon. Supposedly if you keep the car below 47 miles an hour, you drive on the electric motor. So is the 41 mpg what you get on the gas engine alone? Let me ask it another way. If I average 60 mph and go a few hundred miles will I be getting 41 mpg? I'm seriously considering buying a 2011 Fusion Hybrid so I'd really like to hear from an owner of a 2010. Also is the braking system really enough to keep the battery charged. I realize that this car hasn't been out all that long but, I'd really appreciate the early input. Any actual owners out there?

A: It works just like every other hybrid currently out there. Yes the brakes will charge the battery with help from the alternator. It can go up to 47mph on the electric motor but generally it would be using the engine at those speeds because you would want to accelerate fast enough to not get killed. The rating is also done just like every other car on the road and its the EPA rating it not Ford. The car is run on a city loop (in a lab) and given a rating which in this case is 41 mpg. Sometimes the car runs on the engine, sometimes the motor, sometimes both. Then they repeat it with a highway loop (in a lab) and it gets a 36 mpg rating. On this one the car is run only with the engine because the speeds are much higher. Also notice that hybrids get similar mileage to nonhybrids on the highway because the hybrid part isn't in use.

Q: Should I buy the Ford Fusion?
I really love the car but everybody keeps saying that Fords dont last long like Foreign cars. Somebody help please. It's either that or the 2011 Camry. BUT I LIKE THE FUSION! HELPPPPPP!

A: Go with the Camry. It has been considered the best car on the road since the 90's. Ford has not made quality cars since the 70's-80's.
