Q: 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 or 2011 Toyota Tundra?
So without being an enthusiast/elitist, based off of personal knowledge or research etc, which do you think would be the better buy? Price isn't as much the issue over quality and reliability. I'm soon to be in the market for one or the other, so any info would be great!

A: Get the Ram. toyota trucks aren't know to be the best out there, with weak frames/tailgates and thin metal. look at reviews about them and find out for yourself. the new Ram is fantastic as well as its ride with coil rear springs which the tundra, silverado, and f150 don't have. the tundra is the truck for posers

Q: 2011 Dodge RAM vs. 2011 Toyota TACOMA?
i am considering both the ram 1500 crew max and the tacoma quad cab trd. i have been a toyota owner the last 10 years and absolutely love them. but the ram is a pretty nice looking truck, especially because it can come with all the bells and whistles. for me it would be an easy choice for the toyota if only there was a bit more leg room in the back for the few trips a year that i need space for added adult passenger comfort that the dodge could provide. again thats maybe 1-2 trips per year. i test drove a fully loaded ram 1500 today and thought it drove pretty nicely, i couldn't get past however, the cheap feeling of the interior of the ram and the fact the the door paneling of the ram seemed a little wiggly as i closed the door. could anyone provide me with additional information that will help me make a better decision. possibly previous owners (2010 model owners etc.) ps. i dont need the additional horsepower and towing ability that the ram provides.

A: I have a 2006 Dodge and i LOVE it! it drives great and i have yet to have a problem with it. the new Dodge's look amazing in my opinion (especially in Red). i have yet to drive one but they sure do look nice! The last brand of car i would buy right now is a Toyota. With all of the recalls they have had lately, that is a risk i would not be willing to make. In the end you have to get what you like, but i would personally get the Dodge. I love my Dodge and would buy another one any day of the week.

Q: 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 vs 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4?
Both seem unchanged from the 2010 year The GMC is a extended cab with a 6ft bed has the 5.3 liter V8 and the only special features are Blue tooth & climate control which We would probably never use the blue tooth The Dodge is like a 4 door but the back doors are very small & the bed seems shorter then the GMC but maybe it's just me & has the same feat. as the GMC but with the HEMI Could you tell me which truck is better or are they pretty much the same ? I'm leaning towards the Ram cus the HEMI is packing 70 more horsepower but can you really notice the difference But my dad is pro GM so it will be tough to get him to buy a Ram We are going to test drive them but he's been working a lot lately Price is like a 250 dollars difference Since Im not lookin for a diesel I will have to consider the Tundra

A: They are pretty much the same. It all depends on which one you feel more comfortable in. Don't let the "Hemi" advertising suck you in. It isn't anything special. They both run and handle well.

Q: 2010 Dodge Ram HD and 2011 Ford Super Duty?
I want a heavy duty truck, but i dont plan on towing much more than 5000 pounds, Its a matter of want. However which of the two trucks are more fuel efficient for diesel and gas, and how much maintenence should i be expecting on all the engine options on both trucks

A: get a 7.3 powerstroke ford 2010/11 whichever is out diesel it will give you the most torque and mpg's for your money around 30ish mpg and the dodges are known for their transmission problems butt if your gona be spending all that money Get a duramax chevy diesel best truck around

Q: Chevrolet Silverado vs. Dodge Ram?
Should I get a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 diesel and lift it or get a 2011 Ram 2500 Mega Laramie 4x4 Diesel and keep it as it is? Also does diesel spend more money on refills than gas or not?

A: Personally, I would go with the Chevy. Yes, you will spend more for gas on a diesel than a gasoline engine. In my area right now, unleaded is $2.84 / gallon and diesel is $3.09 / gallon. For a 23 gallon tank, it will cost you about $6 a tank more for the diesel.

Q: Car buying advice on making an offer?
I am trying to get a new 2011 dodge ram with an invoce of just over 35000. The sticker price is 40000. I am going to start of course near invoice and with it being the end of the month and the holidays I am hoping they will be in the spirit of giving, what seems like a reasonable ammount to not go over? 37000? or possibly lower?

A: The best way to start is to shop all the local dodge dealers in your area. check out the Saturday paper the Internet and even eBay all the Big dealer have adds and they will price match the same truck. but be sure to bring the adds along the day you go that will show them that you have be shopping it and you not going to pay more then you have to. I have a 06 Dodge ram 1500 big horn 5.7L 2x4 that was 21,500 new. invoice it was 33,788. Dodge has grate deal in Oct and Dec Hope it's still going on. Pay cash if you can or if you have a credit Union it may be the best way to go. whine the dealer give you a interest rate of say 10% the bank most likely bought the loan at 7 or 8% so that's 2 points the dealer keeps on top of all the rest. Stay strong DO NOT take 1st or 4Th deal they offer you the longer you are there the better deal you will git spend all day there and when you git pass off to the store manager he or she most likely to give out the best deal.Good luck to you I'm going to check out the dodge dealer across town my brother in-law works their he said some thing about a good deal Ha Ha............

Q: why is there so many baby and handy cap parking spaces at walmart, super heb, target?
today i went to the the new super heb and there were 50 handy cap parking spaces . for mothers with infants what makes a parent with a small child special lets say a town has 500 people they build a new super heb and only tw0 people are handicap in the whole town why would you put 50 handicap parking spaces in the parking lot what is handi cap it is parkinson's, cerebral palsy or a wheel chair bound person. not a 75 year old fat woman driving a 2011 lexus or a 75 year old fat man driving a 2011 dodge ram who is too fat to walk to the store i dont agree with the stores definition of disabled where are the real handi caped people in wheelchairs i never see them? i dont like parking at the end of the store is there too much emphisis placed on handi caped parking at stores?

A: The short answer is because handicapped spaces are the law. Mother-to-be is a courtesy and usually appears in stores which sell things they will need to buy. The requirements for handicapped parking spaces are not an isolated decisions by a businesses but are requirements of the ADA, Americans with Disabilities Act. There are specific requirements for the size of the space, the location in the lot so that it is close to the entry door and the identification of the parking spot. The guidelines dictate that there must be 1:25 spaces accessible to handicapped and of these 1:8 must be available to van parking. However, for parking lots with more than 1,000 spaces such as the stores you mention the guidelines are 1:100 spaces. http://www.ada.gov/restribr.pdf Special stickers are required and people without the sticker or license plate are subject to ticketing if they violate the regulations. The sticker process varies from state to state. http://www.ehow.com/about_4740444_ada-handicapped-parking-regulations.html There can be people with conditions not readily discernible to your eye which will still qualify a person for a disabled parking sticker. You might not recognize a person with congestive heart failure driving a Lexus but that doesn't mean that they don't have a right to a sticker and that parking space. Pregnancy is not considered a disability (let's not go there) but many stores provide spaces for these women also because it is a courtesy and recognition of their potential as good customers who may need this service. Some pregnant women might actually qualify for a short term disability given their complications so don't be too quick to judge. My husband has Parkinson's disease and does have some balance issues (it was actually a precursor symptom) He also has arthritis in both knees which often causes him extreme pain.(Thanks to many years pounding the hard concrete floors at HD when he worked there) He walks slowly with a cane and often waits in the car because there is just too much walking. We do not have a disabled sticker because he doesn't want it. Even when the sticker might have been helpful for him, he didn't want that identification. So when you get angry at that guy with the cane who takes forever to get out of your way in the parking lot, that's because he hates the stigma of being labeled as handicapped and because he wants to cling to the hope that he will get better one day. And please don't prejudge that "fat woman" or man. Their knees and hearts may be on their last legs. And it might not be because they didn't stop eating, it could be a metabolic issue or a medication related side effect. I don't get it. Are you upset about this because you have to walk a few feet farther or because the parking lot is full except for those few reserved spaces? Here's a link to the Ohio Department of Motor Vehicles application for a handicapped sticker. Read the criteria and decide if you'd like to have to check any of those boxes. Most of the people who do qualify, would rather be healthier and able to walk the distance. http://publicsafety.ohio.gov/links/bmv4826.pdf Here's what the business owner can control - lack of parking lot shade during the summer. I park at the farthest end of a lot to get the car under some kind of tree or building shadow on those hot days.
