Q: Red 2011 Chevy Equinox for a 23 yr old girl?
Do you think this car loks okay for a 23 year old girl? http://www.chevrolet.com/equinox/pictures/ My company is buying it for me, but they will only buy new cars.

A: They are good cars. I think you would like it and a girl in my high school has one and she loves it.

Q: Things to know when purchasing a car?
Hello everyone, I plan on purchasing a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox either in December or January. I know dealers have the power to make deals on vehicles on the lot. If the dealer did not have the car on the lot that I wanted and had to order the car from the manufacture, will the car dealership still try to make a deal with me. I want the Chevy Equinox LTZ with cost between 28,000 to 32,000. How much should I pay? How much could the dealer offer me the car for?

A: You should ask between 4-8% off the sticker price, because that's the average raise dealers put to pay the manufacturer and themselves. If they say no just add 100-250 dollars to your offer until they think about it, counteroffer, or say yes. If they counteroffer either stay firm or keep offering little by little until he agrees.

Q: Used mustang or new equinox?
I'm 16 years old, and my parents will be buying a "new" car in the spring. My mom has an 05 cobalt which is what I drive whenever I need it now, but she drives it 50 miles one way to work everyday so I'll be using the new car. My mom wants a chevrolet equinox, a small SUV crossover which is base price 23k. I want a mustang. She doesn't think a kid should have a new sports car, so she said she'll consider used. So which do you think would be better? A new 2011 equinox, or a 07-09 used mustang? I don't know if it would be v6 v8 coupe or convertible.. Price range would probably be 15k-18k The only car I've driven is the cobalt. It's decently speedy around town. But on the highway, it gets owned by hills.. It doesn't have much power. I've also driven my friend's land rover, and it was pretty nice. I wasn't used to the high up feel. But it had awesome acceleration and power. So, which do you think would be best for me?

A: It depends on your own personality, but for new, Equinox isn't the best choice... i would go with a Nissan Rogue, Hyundai Tuscon/Santa Fe, for used car, maybe the mustang, or a Mitsubishi Evo, Honda S2000, Hyundai Genesis Coupe, Nissan 350Z/370Z, Honda Civic Si

Q: What is your dream car? And wat car do you own?
We drive a 2010 chevrolet equinox and my dream car is the 2011 buick lacrossee fully loaded!

A: I've always wanted a Mustang Shelby Cobra. Right now, I have a Chevy Tahoe 2010. The only reason we have such a big car is because I do horseback riding and we need a large car to pull the trailer to bring the horses places.

Q: Help me chose a car please! if you don't like my choices suggest some different cars too please!!?
O.K. currently I drive a 2001 Chevrolet Astro van AWD. I got the van when I had 3 small children, now the children are more grown up and are embarrassed to be seen in the van and I don't need something this big anymore. I want something with decent gas mileage. My children's ages are: 16, 14, and 9. I have looked at the 2010 Chevy Equinox, the 2010 Subaru Outback, the 2010 Subaru Legacy, the 2010 Toyota Rav4, the 2010 Honda Fit, the 2010 Kia Forte, and the 2011 Chevy Cruze. there are things I like and love about each of these cars, I will say what I like and hopefully you can give me a suggestion, or suggest a new car. for the 2010 equinox (AWD) that the gas mileage in the city is only 20 mpg. for the subaru outback I don't like the fact that it is a wagon. for the 2010 subaru legacy I don't like the fact that its a car because I prefer sitting up higher. for the 2010 Rav4 it is because I'm not sure how much legroom is in the second and third row. for the honda fit it is because it is small and I'm not sure how much legroom it has. I am also not sure how small the kia forte is either. The chevy cruze is a vehicle I do not know too much about though. I want something with good safety ratings because my 16 & 14 year old are going to be driving. I also prefer AWD because I live where there are a lot of hills and snow. AWD isn't required I would just prefer it. A third row seat would be nice, but because most vehicles with good gas mileage don't have a third row I will do without. Also I like the Toyota Avalon, do u know how I could find something like that with a little better gas mileage? The reason I didn't pick the Subaru Forester is because of its MPG. the version I would be getting has an EPA estimated 20 city 26 highway mpg. while the version of the Chevy Equinox I would be getting gets 20/29! The Subaru Outback gets 22/29 and the Subaru Legacy gets 23/31! I am simply looking for something more fuel efficient than a forester.

A: I'm going to be honest I've owned fords for the last 20yrs. Recently we had issues with ford and decided to end our relationship with ford. We were looking at Nissan's and Toyota's but really didn't find anything we fell in love with. I told my wife lets go look at the Subaru Forrester and she looked at me like I was crazy. So we headed to the Subaru dealer and test drove the Forrester. The Forrester drove pretty good but my wife didn't like the way the front of the car looked. Then something caught her eye the 2010 outback the last one on the lot but right before we got to test drive someone bought it. A week later they got another one in so we went and test drove it, lets just say its probably one of the best cars I've ever driven. We traded our piece of crap ford in and I've had no regrets. Actually Motor Trend named the outback sport utility of the year and I have to agree with them. I thought I would never own a Subaru but through research and test driving I thing I will only own Subaru for now on. I have a 11yr daughter, she likes the outback so much she wants it when she turns 16 so I don't think your kids would be embarrassed since it is considered a wagon. Best thing my insurance went down, maybe because the car has a 5star rating.

A: Wish my parents gave me 23k lol. il'd go for the 2011 equinox. I mean personally for me i prefer SUV's and through them troublesome days in winter and snow you don't have to worry about getting up an icey hill as much because it can handle it. Mustang's i know have the reputation to be 'sporty' and quick but for a first car you wouldn't wan't that any way. However in despite of both, consider your car insurance as well. Brand spanking new cars like that aren't going to be cheap to pay for. Money's not an object you say?...Well your one lucky son of a bitch!
