Q: 2011 Infiniti M37S or 2011 BMW 535i? Which car should I buy and which one is more reliable?
If the BMW is more expensive, can you list the costs of preventative maintenance after the 60,000 mile warranty runs out?

A: The Infiniti for sure... Consumer Reports recently ranked BMW, Mercedes-Benz as the lowest reliability and Toyota/Lexus, Honda/Acura, Hyundai, VW, Nissan/Infiniti as the highest. I used to have a 2009 Infiniti M35X, but i traded it in for a 2011 BMW 550I Xdrive... WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! i bought the Infiniti for $55000, and traded it for $28000, and the dealer is now selling it for $35000! I want my Infiniti BACK!!! The beamer is so confusing (iDrive) and isn't as sporty as the Infiniti. And i spent $87000 on the BMW fully loaded with the rims

Q: Which car would you pick? BMW 535i 2011 or the Jaguar XF 2011? Why?
I haven't found a good comparison of the two. I find that websites generally compare the 550i with the XF because that's the same engine size; however, the 335i is better in terms of price.

A: I own a F10 535i its the best car I have ever owned. The twin power turn turbo couple with the 8 speed is awesome. I get great economy aswell. New i drive NAV makes for a very good intrior. The only thing i wish I optioned is the motorsport pack. I havent driven the Xf i heard its ok. Resale will be better on the 5 series. Cheers

Q: Tough choice in getting my new car with my current budget?
I have a dilemma here of either spending approx.$80000 buying a 2011 BMW 535i xdrive and keeping it for 8 years or spending half that amount ($40000 approx.) on a 2011 Acura TSX and get to drive another new car in 4 years' time. Any suggestion? This is even tougher than deciding whether to get married or not.......

A: Well if the question is about which one is better for you as far as money goes. It would be better to buy one expensive car. When you buy a brand new car the depreciation is extreme in the first two years of the car's life. You will be doing that twice if you buy two cars. If the question is about which one will give you more pleasure, then it is a harder question to answer. I would think the nicer car would be more enjoyable as well even if it's older on the last 4 years that you own it out of the 8 years. I think the best and most wise choice is to get the cheaper car, but not buy another one in 4 years and save that money, but I assume you are not interested in that choice. So I vote for the BMW because it is probably a better car and in 8 years you can get another "top of the line" vehicle to enjoy.

Q: Is the 2011 BMW 5-series as amazing of a car as everyone says?
My mom wants to buy the 535i but it's too expensive. She is driving a 2007 Lexus ES350 which has 272 hp. The BMW 528i has 240 hp at 6600 RPM. Will the 2011 BMW 528i be more powerful and handle better than my mom's 2007 Lexus ES350 even though it has lower horsepower? Is the BMW 5 series, redesigned for 2011, really the "It" car that everyone seems to think it is? They have an amazing 4 year/50000 miles maintenance plan I'm told. I also feel BMW's are better than Mercedez-Benz's, but should my mom consider the Audi A6 or the new Infiniti M, Cadillac CTS, or Jaguar? My mom really prides herself on driving nice cars, and the Lexus basically failed her with many maintenance problems. Should the BMW be #1 on her list? Is it "that" good?

A: Yes it is awesome and I LOVE it but...... The Cadillac CTS V had 304 hp and good for going 140mph in total comfort while smoking most other cars on the road. Buy it.

Q: BMW 535i or Mercedes E350?
My dad's buying a new car and since I'm finally home for Christmas we got to go around test driving them all yesterday. I loved both cars, but they're so different in driving style. The BMW was incredibly fun to drive, but wasn't too smooth and the rear seat was a bit cramped (although more nicely furnished than that of the Benz), while the Mercedes was amazingly smooth and absorbed basically all bumps, but was just sort of disconnected when driving and the steering felt just a little too light. Which do you guys like based on appearance, experience if you have it, name affiliation/ etc? http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehicles/explore/overview/class-E/model-E350W http://www.bmwusa.com/standard/content/vehicles/2011/5/535isedan/default.aspx The BMW cost a little more (63k sticker vs. 61 for the Mercedes), but comes with 4 years free maintenance. The guy at the Mercedes was also more open to negotiating price and offered 57k for it. This is going to be my parents' car for most of the year and they'll be driving my little brother around in it. It's pretty much going to be mine when I'm home for Christmas and Summer, so about 4 months of the year.

A: For the same money, your Dad can get a 2011 Infiniti M56 with the V8 and all of the luxury. That's a 5.6 Liter engine with 420 HP...not a 3.5 Liter with 300 HP. Plus the Infiniti is going to be way more reliable than anything European. If he he stuck on 'settling' for the vehicles you described, go with the BMW. If you look up the definition of 'overrated', there is a picture of a Mercedes.

Q: BMW Remote start - Will it void factory warranty?
Will installing a remote engine starter on a brand new 2011 535i void the factory warranty? Do the dealers have option of installing that?

A: It wont void your warranty but if you have a problem with your car and it turns out it was caused by any after market equipment then you will be on the hook for the repair.

Q: Range Rover Sport and BMW X6 xDrive 5.0?
hi all i have question, how its come Range Rover Sport's MSRP 60,495$ and mothly payment is 899$ for 60 months -- http://www.hornburgla.com/newVehicles/specials/landrover/ BUT BMW X6 xDrive 5.0 MSRP $69,875 but monthly payment 719$ for 36 months -- http://www.alexanderbmw.com/OfferDetails_D?currentModelCode=1161&modelName=X6%20xDrive50i&offerType=Lease&offerYear=2011&cs:i:y=2011&cs:i:v=BMW:X6%2050i:AWD%204dr%20SUV im new in cars sphere, this would be my second car, and i would like understand how its came fact an expensive car's monthly payment is less than that car what is cheaper but has much monthly payment also im in choose between these cars all 2011: Porsche Cayenne S, Range Rover Sport, BMW X6 5.0, Mercedes E350(550), BMW 535i GT which one you would recommend me? im single guy 20 years old... and i don't care about HP... i need sexier exterior look and likely intereor look too... attractive one but at my listed cars im only ready to spend 1000$ per month(included insurance) are these cars in that range ?

A: Price is only the part of the equation. Cars like BMW have very high residual values (the expected retail value at the end of the lease) which help in lowering lease payments. BMW has a much better lease package than a Range Rover. A perfect example is the GMW Yukon Denali priced at 56000 vs the BMW X5 at 60000, there is about a 150 per month difference in the two lease payments, the bmw being less, just because the X5 has a much better residual value. There are many other factors which could take a whole book to relay to you, but this should answer the basic question. Good choice on the X6, its a great car.

Q: What car should I convince my dad to buy?

I'm asking in this section because which one would you yourrself prefer to drive? It's not going to be my car, but I'll be driving it a fair bit and would appreciate your feedback.

A: The Jaguar XF
