I have just recently leased a 2010 nissan altima and i wanted to get street glow led strips for the interior with the music interface. It is hard to install if i never have done i before? Also will it void the warranty? If you can please give me instructions on how to do it please. Thanks!
A: Street Glow web site and instructions on the packaging. If you break interior parts installing LED's those will not be covered by Nissan Warranty. Extra wiring gets in the way when your Nissan Technician needs to remove interior trim to preform warranty work. Just a lot of flash and not necessary to make the car go. A: best thing to do is get a friend that know how to do it to help you
the first time you do it it is a little hard but after you have an idea its is easy
the light wouldn't be covered in the warranty but if something electronically fail they will automatically blame your leds

I have a 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5S thats in the shop getting repairs, i want to upgrade the sound system and was wonder what size the front door, back door, and rear window speakers are and if the wiring for the extra speakers is there? The current speakers is just the stock 4 speaker system.
A: you should have 3.5" in the dash, 5 1/4" in the front door 6 1/2" should also fit and 6x9" in the rear deck.
Q: Which brands of cold air intake systems should I consider for my 2010 Nissan Altima V6?
It is a sedan and do not want to do anything major to the engine, but just to add a little more to the engine.
A: Should your air flow meter become oiled from a custom air filter Nissan will not replace it under warranty. Modern cars will not gain any performance with a custom under hood air intake system even if it gets cold air. Stock air filter takes in only cold air too. Performance gains need correct fuel mapping and custom dyno meter tunning. So get an exhaust and intake only after you get some base line dyno pulls on a completely stock car. After installing parts have a tunner adjust the fuel mapping to gain the most power. Don't expect gas milage and more power at the same time.
Q: Which is better, 2010 Honda Accord Coupe or 2010 Nissan Altima Sedan?
I have to choose between these two cars, both are good looking on the outside but the nissan has a bit more power than the honda but the looks of the honda is really good. Which do u guys think is better?
A: My sister was deciding between an Accord sedan and an Altima sedan. She chose the Accord, but now thinks it's kinda bland and boring. It's a super nice car though, lots of room and really well made. The Altima was a little more exciting, with some nice features and the CVT transmission.
If you're planning to keep the car for a long time, I would recommend the Accord. If you want something fun to drive for a few years, get the Altima.
Q: should I get a very slightly used 2010 nissan sentra, or a used 2007 nissan altima?
I am currently looking to purchase my first car. I am torn between these two cars. The 2010 Sentra is the SL model, loaded with navigation and other goodies, while the 2007 Altima is a good car, but not loaded with as much stuff. But the Altima has a higher rating. I am torn!

-gas mileage
-if there's any problems with the 2007 model
-how often you'll use the navigation

hey guys im planning on getting nissan altima and i have already tested both 2010 and 2011
i really liked the 2011 cause it was a special edition but they didnt give me a reasonable deal and they were ripping me off the said if i went for a 2010 model i could get a better deal for around the price i wanted
but then when we were rerunning the deal on the 2010 convenience package they wanted me to pay up front the whole payment for an OTD or off the dealership deal for about 24k so i tried haggle down to around 22k firm but he wouldnt budge so i walked away
he called me after i got on the road and quickly said how about 22,500 so i said no
would it be a good deal for 22,500 or lower since the 2011 altima are out and they cant get me a special edition altima for 2010 the salesman was willing to work it lower but the manager kept on being a greedy little Bi****** which btw he called me and offer the 22,500 for the car should i take it or wait for a better deal possible black friday or christmas i know he is losing about 500 per month on the car for being on the lot since he doesnt own it or the dealership on the company so what is a good price for the 2010 altima 2.5s? it will have mud guards, floor mats, and a convenience package
ok so i live in hawaii that is one factor and yea its like a 1 year car of course the price matters a lot but the years on both are the same identical nothing new im going to try go to the other dealership since there are only 3 here on the island and see if they will give me one for a firm price
A: I don't know where you live but you need to check with all of the Nissan dealers within 50-100 miles of you. Call and ask to speak with the fleet manager and tell them exactly what you are looking for and ask for their best price. You can tell them that you are shopping multiple dealerships and will buy from the one with the best price. You need to secure pre qualified financing from your bank or credit union and no trade to be involved. Get the car you want (2011) don't let a few hundred ruin your purchase. Remember the 2010 is already considered a one year old car.

The dealer has offered me $21,112 as an "out the door" price, will I be able to get them to go any lower?

A: You won't be able to find any lights that are pink or blue. You can not have any red (pink) on the front of a vehicle and you can not have any blue lights on a vehicle. Except for police and other authorized vehicles.
Q: Nissan Altima 2010 Accessories. (Please answer, especially if you are a car expert)?
I have a black 2010 nissan altima 2.5S
I was thinking of adding some stuff, but I don't know where how how I would do this. Please help by telling me where and how I can buy these accessories.
1) Spoiler - I want a spoiler but I don't like the Nissan factory spoilers.
2) Black Rims - I don't want to spend a lot of money, and my friend told me that he changed his regular rims to black. He said the people magnetized his rims, and then magnetized the paint, and it stook together.
3) short ram intake - Where can I find one that I know will work for my model.
4) Black tail lights - This is what I would want the most. I don't know how I could do this. I've heard people actually spray painting their lights, while others have bought a tail light cover to make it black.

A: Powder coating is a electrically charged (static electricity) not magnetism and baked paint process on the rims. (that is ok) Changing the rim size and re engineering the suspension system to function properly (difficult) Hot air under the hood short ram sucks in will not make more power just more noise. So a long air intake that takes cold air will be better. Covering the lights on your car with paint or tint is illegal in almost all states. Spoiler might make more wind turbulence and drag. Less gas mileage? People spend lot's of money on base S model Altima's when they should have just spend a hundred more a month for a more optioned car in the first place. Altima is a 4 door family car that gets 600 miles or more per tankfull. Keep it completely stock save money buy your sports car with the savings by keeping this car stock.

I can get my hands on a GTR engine but I only want it if i can put in my Altima coupe. Can anyone help me?
A: Not unless you are going to make your Altima RWD. With the amount of money you will spend on that you could buy a 2nd new car.

Ok, I'm 18 years old and I'm looking at a new car to take to college. My parents want to buy a new car over used because they want something reliable with a good warranty. I originally wanted a SUV but its too impractical with gas and insurance. Out of all the sedans we've looked at and test driven the 2010 Nissan Altima 3.5SR is definitely my favorite. The one we are looking at is white with black leather interior. It also comes with all the premium packages (spoiler, fog lights, navigation, premium audio) so its VERY nice. The only thing that I can't get out of my head is that the Altima is considered a "family sedan." I know I shouldn't base my decision off of this but as a teenager I can't help but like something that is sporty and impressive. I really shouldn't have anything to worry about because this particular Altima is very attractive. The coupe was also an option but I think I prefer the 4 door sedan because its just easier with friends and stuff in the back seat. I'm not trying to sound spoiled. This is a great car and if its what my parents decide on I would be very happy. I'm just looking for some opinions.
A: No one will be impressed at the look at the altima. they will be impressed, however, when you step on the gas and the V6 leaves them in the dust!
yeah the altima is a family sedan. but who cares? it has great power, (270hp) great interior, great reliability, it's safe, and, like you said, you can fit lots of friends in the back comfortably. i'd say the car is somewhat sporty. i think it's a very good choice
now if you want something sportier, go with the maxima. it has more power, (290hp) a tighter suspension, and it is a smaller 4 door than the altima. it also can come with all of the options you like too.
if you want something even smaller than that, there's the nissan sentra se-r spec-v. (200hp) and yes, it too is a 4 door.
I'd also consider the honda accord v6 and the toyota camry se v6. but both of those are kinda boring. i've always preferred nissan for driving excitement
so in terms of fun, reliable, and roomy sport sedans, you have a lot of options. (my personal choice would be the maxima)
