Q: Dodge Grand Caravan or Nissan Quest?
I have around 10 grand CND , and I am on the market for a used minivan. I have narrowed my choices to two , 2008-2010 Dodge Grand Caravan or a 2005-2008 Nissan Quest. I am asking for an opinion on which one to choose. I have found a Caravan for around that price and there are plenty of Quests in that price range. Are there any problems of which i should be aware of? Are there any better minivans for that price range?

A: I currently own a 2004 Nissan Quest. I bought it with 55k miles and its the SL model , it has the power back liftgate, and a power sliding door. I love both features and being able to use the remote on it. It also has heated leather and DVD system in it. I paid 10,500 for it . I recommend the Quest, the styling of the interior is neat, and has plenty of power, The only thing i've found bad about it is in cold weather the Tire Pressure monitoring system will say the tires are flat, when they are not. The turning radias , trying to turn into tight spots is difficult, but i expected that. I can not say anything about the dodge grand caravan, but highly recommend the quest, if you can get the SE model of the quest, it features both power sliding doors, and some have a SKYVIEW option with 5 sunroofs, and is freakin awesome.

Q: problems with uconnect in dodge grand caravan?
i have a 2010 dodge grand caravan with the mediacentre 430 touchscreen radio and uconnect. i paired it with my blackberry 8310 and it worked perfectly for the first day. the next day it connected automatically but when i press the phone button it says "ready" so I say "call home" and it says something like "calling 41" or a bunch of different numbers. Other times it will actually work, but sometimes it will just dial weird numbers. Does anyone know why and how to fix this? Thanks i am assuming its a problem with the uconnect, but i suppose it could be my blackberry. anyone have any similar problems??

A: i have a customer who has that problem and he went to a dear about it because he thought it was a problem with the unit in the van and the dealer told him it would learn the codes on his system and stop doing this,so you might want to call them and verify that the system will accept this,his still does it every once in a while but for the majority of the calls he makes he says it works good now most of the time,sorry i couldn't be of more help on this one,good luck.

Q: Cracked fingernail...?
So a week ago, I was folding the seats in a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan and it jammed my middle finger cutting the skin, and cracked the nail where the skin and nail meet, it cracked about halfway across but i dont feel any pain unless something directly touches the cracked nail. My question is, what will happen? I been told i will lose my fingernail and that is a very painful process, someone else also told me to just pull the fingernail off now before it starts to grow which I refuse to do! What should I do please help. just a little more detail, the crack goes horizontally along the skin line where the nail meets, not vertically down.

A: Well the question is.... Will the nail still grow? And, Can you stand the pain? I the answer to either question is no.... Then a physician will remove the nail. Under no circumstances would I recommend you trying to remove it yourself. I have removed nails in the past and a lotcan go wrong and is very painful. I now refer most of those patients to their docs...Sorry for your pain.

Q: What does "Range" mean on the instrument panel of a 2010 Nissan Altima?
I'm still getting used to the car, and do not know all of it's features. Coming from a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan, it's very new to me. Range coinciding with a number of miles, I have no idea what it means. It's a brand new car also.

A: It is how many miles till the tank is empty but it changes depending on how you drive so it always changes. Dodge had it in the vans too with option.

Q: What is the best minivan at the best price?
It is that time in my life now. I am going to be 40 soon and I got a 2 year old and a 7 month old. Yes I have to buy a mini van. So far I the best price we seen is a Dodge Grand Caravan. Pre owned. Looking for 2008 to 2010. I live North or Boston. But would like some advise on the best Van to buy.

A: I'm not a fan of Dodge but the Grand Caravan is a pretty good vehicle and handles well. You might also look at the Honda Odyssey.

A: Dodge Grand Caravan, Chrysler Town and Country and Volkswagon Routan are pretty much similar. We used to own 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE and it was not good. It had poor interior and very little HP(175 horsepower 3.3L), it was also not great on gas. It had constant issues with brakes and suspension. It was just terrible... Chrysler Town and Country is not bad but transmission is same as Dodge and it won't last long. Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna are great minivans. My friend owns a Honda Odyssey and it is amazing compared to the Chrysler. It is far more superior. But odyssey and sienna are very expensive. I'm not too familiar with kia sedona.

Q: which of these cars is the best deal for the money?

A: It is hard to say until you take the car to the certified mechanic and have it inspected. Cheapest car may not prove so cheap down the road if it requires a lot of maintenance and repair.
